IAIN OVERTON, ON CRIMINAL RUSSIA

IAIN OVERTON is a British investigative journalist and writer. He worked for many years with the BBC and Al Jazeera. He has visited 110 countries and writes articles for The Guardian.

Iain holds awards that many only dream of: Peabody, BAFTA Scotland, Amnesty Awards, Prix Circom. He was nominated for the Royal Television Society Awards and the Golden Dagger Award.

Iain Overton’s latest book is THE PRICE OF PARADISE, published in Romania by Corint Publishing House. It is a masterful account of the birth and evolution of suicide terrorism worldwide.

The first suicide terrorist was the Russian who killed Tsar Alexander II. Russia exported terrorism to the Middle East. We have spoken extensively about Putin’s terrorist atrocities in Ukraine.

I had the privilege of interviewing one of the world’s great journalists. Iain Overton was trained at the elite BBC school of journalism, and this is evident in every word he speaks.
