    The Road of War. Manifesto.
    The Road of War is a project created by journalists Viorica Tataru and Andrei Captarenco, who, since the beginning of the large-scale war launched by Russia in Ukraine, have been reporting directly from the field. Viorica Tataru and Andrei Captarenco have traveled tens of thousands of kilometers through Ukraine, filming in bombed cities, in devastated communities, on roads leading to the front line. They do not reconstruct reality from press releases. They were there and exposed themselves to risks. Thus, this homonymous platform brings together documentary films, video reports, voxes made by them in Ukraine, where war is a daily experience.
    Viorica Tataru: \u201cWe believe that we need to talk about Ukraine for reasons that go beyond the borders of a single state. This war has redesigned the security architecture of the entire world and reconfigured the discourse on freedom, sovereignty and international responsibility. It has changed mental borders, alliances, economies, lives.\u201d
    Andrei Captarenco: \u201cWar is experienced by concrete people. Homes and lives destroyed. Towns razed to the ground. Children killed, displaced or kidnapped by terrorists. Doctors operating under airstrikes. Soldiers who know that every day could be their last. Heroes fallen in the line of duty. Volunteers with big hearts… We believe that these stories must be seen and heard directly.\u201d
    The Road of War is a project in development and will be continuously supplemented with new materials filmed in Ukraine. The project has also been joined by the well-known journalist Angela Aram\u0103, who has been writing about the war daily for Romanian speakers since the beginning.
